How Mid-Cycle Changes are Charged: Add Services

DIRECTV bills you for a full month of service at the start of your bill cycle. Adding a service after you receive your bill will show up as charges on your next bill.

Example: Bill date is the 5th of the month. Customer adds one Premium movie channel on the 15th of June.

On your July bill, you'll see:

  • $8.66 charge for 20 days of SHOWTIME® (June 15-Jul 4)
  • Full month's charge of $12.99 for SHOWTIME® (Jul 5-Aug 4)
