What equipment do I need to view programming in 1080p?

You need an HDTV capable of displaying the 1080p resolution format, a DIRECTV Plus® HD DVR receiver (model HR20 or higher — you can find the model number behind the small door on the bottom right corner of the front panel), and an HDMI cable to connect your receiver and your TV.
