DIRECTV typically supports U.S.-based non-profit organizations with which we have previously established relationships. DIRECTV does not currently operate a grant program and does not seek or review unsolicited donation applications and project proposals.
Examples of proposals that DIRECTV's Corporate Citizenship department will not consider include:
- Requests for discounted or temporary DIRECTV programming, hardware, installation, or televisions (although schools may apply for complimentary programming through our DIRECTV GOES TO SCHOOL® program).
- Requests for sponsorships or grants for conferences, seminars, contests, fund-raising activities, marketing, sports events, or teams (although schools may apply for fundraising opportunities through the DIRECTV GOES TO SCHOOL™ program).
- Requests from non-tax-exempt organizations.
- For-profit ventures.
- Requests from programs that discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
Unsolicited proposals received by the Corporate Citizenship department may not be reviewed and may not receive a response. If you have questions about DIRECTV's strategy for philanthropic giving and public affairs, please contact us at CorporateCitizenship@directv.com.
