Can I activate my DIRECTV receiver online?

Yes, once your receiver is installed, you can quickly and easily activate it online. Before you begin, make sure you have the receiver ID, access card number, and model ready. The Receiver ID is located on a sticker behind the access card door panel on the front of the receiver.

Step 1

Sign in to your DIRECTV account

Step 2

Once you're logged in, place your mouse over My Account above the main navigation and select My Equipment.

Step 3

Click Activate Online and follow the instructions.
