What is GenieGO™? What does it do?

DIRECTV nomad™ customers: nomad™ is now GenieGO™. Same magical device. We just gave it a more appropriate name.

DIRECTV GenieGO™ is a small device that lets you stream shows from your HD DVR playlist instantly on your computer, tablet, or cell phone. You can also download your recorded shows to your computer or mobile device and watch them on the go, without an Internet connection. GenieGO is designed to work only with DIRECTV receivers.
