Can I set my DVR from my cell phone?

Yes. Go to directv.com on your mobile web browser and tap "Set My DVR." You'll be asked to download the DIRECTV app for your mobile phone. This app lets you browse all movies, shows, and sports available on DIRECTV. You can select any of these titles from the app and set your DVR to record them from anywhere. If you already have the app, you can always go straight to the app to start browsing and select the title you want to record.
