Can I access On Demand shows and movies with the Genie™ HD DVR?

Yes. The Genie HD DVR gives you access to thousands of shows and movies available on DIRECTV On Demand. Your Genie HD DVR must be connected to your home Internet network. The installer will connect the receiver to your home Internet network as a part of the standard installation for new customers. (You must have active Internet service in your home.)
