GenieGO™ lets you stream a movie or a show from your HD DVR instantly on your laptop, tablet, and cell phone as you're recording it, when you're within your home Wi-Fi network!

Here's what you need:

Equipment
  • A DIRECTV HD DVR connected to your home broadband network
  • A wireless router
  • DIRECTV GenieGO™ device connected to the wireless router
  • PC, Mac, or iPhone® (coming soon to iPad® and Android)
Broadband Internet Connection
Connect your GenieGO™ to the Ethernet port on your wireless router.
Compatible Devices
DIRECTV GenieGO™ works with PC, Mac computers, iPhone, and iPod touch, and soon will be compatible with iPad and Android™ mobile devices.

Follow these steps to stream shows instantly:

Step 1

Set your HD DVR to record a LIVE movie or a show.

Step 2

Within your home Wi-Fi network, launch the GenieGO™ App on your laptop, tablet, and cell phone.

Step 3

Once your device has been activated, you'll see all of the shows and movies on your DVR playlist. Select any LIVE show or movie you are currently recording to your HD DVR.

Step 4

On the detail page, click or tap the Watch Now button and enjoy!
