How do I sign up for Appointment Alerts via text message?

You can easily check the status of your upcoming installation or service call appointment online with the DIRECTV Appointment Tracker. Check the date and time of your appointment, see approximately how long it’ll take, check if your technician’s already on the way to your home, and much more. You can also reschedule or cancel your appointment at any time.

Please note: Only service call appointments can be cancelled online. If you would like to cancel an equipment installation appointment, please call us at 1-800-531-5000.

Follow these easy steps to track your appointment status:

Step 1

Sign in to your DIRECTV account.

If you don’t have an online account, click “”Register””.

Step 2

Select My Orders & Service Calls from the My Account menu.

Step 3

Here you’ll find all the details of your upcoming appointment: the date and time approximate duration, your technician’s arrival window, and your appointment status. You can add your appointment to your calendar by clicking the Add to Calenar link. Want to reschedule or cancel your appointment? Just click the appropriate links.

Please note: If you have multiple DIRECTV appointments, the one that’s coming up first will be displayed in the Appointment Tracker. Once it’s completed, the details of your second appointment will be displayed.

Step 4

Click Sign Up for Appointment Alerts to receive helpful reminders and appointment status updates. We can email, text, and/or call you anytime your appointment status changes – for examples, if you tech is on the way, or has already arrived at your home.

Step 5

If you have any special instructions for tech,you can leave a note in the Note to Technician section. To edit a note you previously wrote, just click Change.
