How do I sign up for Appointment Alerts via text message?

It’s easy to review the status of an upcoming installation or service appointment online with the DIRECTV Appointment Tracker. Check the date and time of your appointment, see approximately how long it’ll take, check if your technician’s on the way to your home, and more. You can also reschedule or cancel your appointment at any time.

To track your appointment status:

Step 1

Sign in to your account. If you don’t have one, select Register.

Step 2

Select My Orders & Service Calls from the My Account menu.

Step 3

Review details of your upcoming appointment including: the date, time and approximate duration, your technician’s arrival window, and appointment status. You can add your appointment to your calendar by selecting Add to Calendar. Want to reschedule or cancel your appointment? Just choose the appropriate links to update.

Note: If you have multiple DIRECTV appointments, the first one scheduled will display in the Appointment Tracker. Once it’s completed, the details of your next appointment will display.

Step 4

Click Sign Up for Appointment Alerts to receive helpful reminders and appointment status updates. We can email, text, and/or call you anytime your appointment status changes – for example, if your tech is on the way or has already arrived at your home.

Step 5

If you have any special instructions, add them in the Note to Technician section. To edit an existing note, select Change.
