What if I forgot my User ID or password?

You can easily retrieve your username or User ID (formerly Access ID), or reset your password.

Note: DIRECTV is part of the AT&T family, so you’ll be redirected to att.com during these steps.

 

Retrieve your username or AT&T User ID

  1. On the My Account Sign In page, select the Forgot email or User ID? link.
  2. Follow the page instructions to enter your phone number or account number and ZIP code.
    Note: Your account number is printed at the top of your bill.
  3. Select Continue.
  4. We’ll send your Access ID to the email address we have on file.

Reset your password

  1. On the My Account Sign In page, select the Forgot Password? link.
  2. Follow the page instructions to enter the requested information.
  3. Select Continue.
  4. We’ll email you a temporary password. Copy and paste your temporary password in the entry field and select Continue.
  5. Enter a new password and confirm it, and then select Continue.

Note: Temporary passwords cannot be used to sign in to any DIRECTV Apps.
