How do I add a DIRECTV Protection Plan?

With a DIRECTV™ protection plan, you can protect all of your DIRECTV™ devices, get an equipment upgrade every two years, and even protect all of your eligible viewing devices if you choose DIRECTV Protection Plan Premier.

 

Available protection plans
DIRECTV™ offers three protection plans so you can choose the plan that’s right for you.

  • DIRECTV Protection Plan – This plan provides protection for all of your DIRECTV™ devices, plus a DIRECTV equipment upgrade every two years with a renewed 24-month equipment lease agreement.
  • DIRECTV Protection Plan Premier – This plan includes everything in the DIRECTV™ Protection Plan, plus protection for all of your eligible viewing devices, both old and new. Eligible devices include TVs, laptop and desktop computers, tablets, home theater systems as well as other accessories like routers and modems.
  • DIRECTV Protection Plan Premier with Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) – This plan includes everything in the DIRECTV™ Protection Plan Premier and provides coverage for your laptops and tablets for accidental damage from handling such as drops, spills, and cracked screens./li>

To add a protection plan:

  • Log in to My Account.
  • Select My Equipment.
  • Scroll to the My Protection Plan section of the page.
  • Select Activate Now to add the protection plan of your choice.
