Why is the amount on my bill sometimes different from the amount I see online or hear on the phone?

DIRECTV bills you for a full month of service at the start of your billing cycle. You will not see charges or credits from changes that include a DIRECTV CINEMA or Pay Per View Event purchase or a change of service mid-bill cycle, until your next regular monthly billing statement is generated. These changes, however, will be immediately reflected on your online account or through our automated phone system.
