How to access your receiver's on-screen help menu

Find help right when you need it. Your receiver's help menu contains answers to the frequently asked questions about your receiver, troubleshooting info, and helpful tips & tricks to enhance your viewing experience.

Step 1

Go to your receiver and press the MENU button on your remote control.

Step 2

Use the DOWN ARROW button on your remote control to highlight Settings & Help. You'll see a list of icons on the right side of your TV screen. Use the ARROW buttons to highlight Help. Then press the SELECT button to select it.

Note: If you have a Standard Receiver or a DVR, use the ARROW buttons to highlight Parental, Fav's & Setup and press the SELECT button.

Step 3

You'll see a list of quick tips on using your receiver. Press the DOWN ARROW button to scroll through the list. To view more information on a particular topic, highlight it and then press the SELECT button.
