To ensure that your GenieGO installation goes smoothly, please make sure you have the following items in place:
- An active broadband Internet connection (Cable or DSL). An Internet connection via satellite or a "hot spot" is not compatible.
- A wireless router with an available Ethernet port. You'll need to know the name of your network and your username and password.
- A Mac or PC with admin rights to install software.
- A DIRECTV.com account with your username and password. If you haven’t already, you can create an account now.
