I'm seeing a message on my TV screen saying "No user activity for the last 4 hours. Going into Power Saving mode." What does this mean?

Some DIRECTV receivers have a power-saving feature that automatically puts the receiver in standby after four hours of inactivity. It's to prevent the receiver from using up any more energy than it has to when you've left it on but are not actually engaged in watching TV. If you are actually watching and do not want it to go into standby, just select Cancel. If you do nothing, your receiver will go into standby after two minutes.
