What has changed in the DIRECTV Customer Agreement?


The Customer Agreement outlines the terms and conditions of your DIRECTV Service. The most recent update to The DIRECTV Customer Agreement will take effect on June 24, 2014.

Here is a list of some minor changes that have been made since the previous version.

  • Section 1. Our Service: Information about connecting your DIRECTV equipment to a phone line has been removed and the word “location” has been replaced with “service address”
  • Section 2. Payment: The phrase “additional receiver” has been changed to “each receiver”
  • Section 3. Customer Information: New information has been added about pre-recorded messages, email and text messages related to your DIRECTV account
