Why are some of my programming and billing options limited?


Under certain circumstances, programming limitations may be placed on your DIRECTV account. If these limitations are placed on your account:

You will not be eligible for the following for a minimum period of four months:

  • PREMIER or LO MAXIMO package
  • Playboy TV, Playboy TV En Español, Hustler TV, Penthouse TV

Your account will be limited to ONE of the following premium services:


You will not be eligible to bill the following items to your account for a minimum period of four months:

  • Pay Per View movies and events
  • Seasonal sports subscriptions

Programming limitations will be automatically removed from your account after you meet the following criteria:

  • Your account cannot have a past due balance for 4 consecutive months.
  • Your account cannot have any payment reversals for 4 consecutive months.

    If these criteria are not met at the end of the 4-month period, programming limitations will remain on the account and be reevaluated for removal at the end of every 30-day period.

The reasons that programming limitations may be placed on your DIRECTV account include:

  • DIRECTV limits services on certain accounts based on payment history.
  • The temporary limitation was designed to help ensure your account stays in good standing.
