Can I check my account balance and pay my bill via text message?

Yes, you can pay your DIRECTV bill or check your account balance — anytime, anywhere — with a simple text message from your cell phone. To complete your payment, you may receive up to 5 text messages sent by automated dialing equipment. Standard text message and data rates apply. Just follow these instructions:

Step 1

Text PAY or BAL to 21880.

Step 2

Reply 1 to check your account balance and due date.

Step 3

Reply 1 to pay your bill with your credit card on file.
Note: You can easily add or change your credit card on file online in My Account.

Step 4

You’re done! If you want to continue receiving important account related messages via text, just text Y to sign up.
