Solution 2: Check that your TV and your receiver are on the same output channel
Tune your TV to Channel 3 or Channel 4 using your TV remote control, not
your DIRECTV remote control. You can also use the control panel on your TV.
If you see a clear picture, slide the Channel 3/4
switch at the back of your receiver to the same channel your TV is tuned to.
