Solution 2: Verify the batteries are working
Step 1 Press and hold down the number "1" on your keypad. Make sure you see a blinking green LED at the top of the remote.
Step 2 If you do not see a green light, change the batteries in your remote. Here's how:
a. Turn your remote control over and remove the battery cover.
b. Insert two new AA batteries and close the battery cover. If possible, use batteries from the same pack.
c. Push and hold any button. If you see a solid green light at the top of your remote, that means the batteries are working.
d. Press the GUIDE
button on your remote.
If pressing the GUIDE
button does not display the on-screen guide, confirm your remote is paired with your receiver. Press and hold the MUTE
buttons on your remote while pointing at your Genie, Genie Mini, or Wireless Genie Mini. The screen will display Applying IR/RF Setup
Remote still not responding?
