Print

Fox has decided to makes some changes to its channels and the programming offered on them. These changes include the following:

  • FOX Soccer Channel has been replaced by FXX, a new channel focused primarily on original and acquired comedy content, on channel 619
  • SPEED has been replaced by FOX Sports 1 on channel 219
  • FUEL TV has been replaced by FOX Sports 2 on channel 618

These channel changes are happening with all TV providers, not just DIRECTV.

For DIRECTV for Business customers who were paying for the FOX Soccer Channel a la carte, DIRECTV will now provide some of its programming —at no extra charge—in the following base TV packages: Commercial Xtra Pack, Commercial Choice, Commercial Choice Plus, Commercial Mas Ultra Pack, Ultimate, or Business Choice.

These customers will receive a prorated credit for FOX Soccer for the unused portion of the month based on their bill cycle day. Customers who paid for FOX Soccer annually will receive a credit for the remainder of their annual cycle. You do not have to take any action to receive the prorated credit-it will be applied automatically to your account.

All customers who used to get SPEED will get FOX Sports 1, which is available in the following packages: Commercial Xtra Pack, Commercial Choice Plus, Commercial Choice, Business Choice, and Commercial Mas Ultra Pack.

All customers who used to get FUEL TV will get FOX Sports 2, which is available in the following packages: Commercial Xtra Pack, Commercial Choice Plus, Commercial Choice, Business Choice.

If you have any additional questions regarding these changes, please contact a DIRECTV for Business Customer Care representative at 888-388-4249.
