  • If you’re going to be late for a payment or you’re already past due, click the “Make a Promise to Pay” link below.
  • If you’ve been scheduled for service interruption, click the “Request a service interruption extension” link below.
  • If your service has already been interrupted, click here.

If you can't make a payment by the due date or you've already missed a payment, you can make a Promise to Pay and let us know when you'll be able to pay your bill. If your account is past due, it will temporarily stop call attempts. This may take approximately 24 hours to take effect.

Please note: Late fees will still apply to your account.

Step 2

Click the Need more time to pay? link in the My Account section.

Step 3

If you see the Promise to Pay window, fill in your expected payment date, payment amount, and payment method, then click  Submit.

Please note: By making a Promise to Pay, you're informing us of payment you'll be making in the future and NOT scheduling an actual payment. Late fees may still apply.

Step 4

If your Promise to Pay request is approved, you'll see a confirmation on the website or in your email inbox. If you do not see a confirmation, our chat agents will be able to assist you.

Step 5

Please return to directv.com to make a payment before your expected payment date to avoid additional fees and possible service interruption in the future.

If you've been scheduled for service interruption, you could be eligible for a one-time service interruption extension of up to a maximum of five days. Doing so will temporarily stop call attempts. This may take approximately 24 hours to take effect.

Step 2

Click the Need more time to pay? link in the My Account section.

Step 3

If you see a Request a Service Interruption Extension window, you're eligible for a service interruption extension. Just select your expected payment date and click Submit. By requesting a service interruption extension, you're informing us of payment you'll be making in the future and NOT scheduling an actual payment.

Please note: If you see a "Promise to Pay" window, you're NOT eligible for a service interruption extension. Your service will be interrupted on the scheduled date unless we receive your payment by then. Learn how to make a Promise to Pay in the section above.

Step 4

If your service interruption extension request is approved, you'll see a confirmation on the website or in your email inbox. If you do not see a confirmation, our chat agents will be able to assist you.

Step 5

Please return to directv.com to make a payment before your expected payment date to avoid additional fees and possible service interruption in the future.
