What is happening to SOAPnet broadcast?

Disney has decided to discontinue SOAPnet (Ch.262). On December 31, 2013, this channel will no longer be offered to any entertainment providers, including DIRECTV.

When is SOAPnet scheduled to go off the air?

SOAPnet will cease entirely on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:59pm EST.

   

Will VOD and Broadband services/products continue for SOAPnet?

All VOD and Broadband (SOAPNETIC) products will cease at the end of the calendar year for all TV operators.

 

Will I still be able to see General Hospital episodes?

Yes, fans will still be able to see new episodes of General Hospital on their local ABC station, M-F, 2-3pm EST. Additionally, episodes are available on ABC On Demand.
