I didn't get credit for my referral. Why?

This can happen because of one of the following reasons:
  • Your friend has canceled his or her DIRECTV service before installation
  • Your friend did not select a qualifying TV package (SELECT Package or higher)
  • Your friend has accepted a different promotional offer and is therefore not eligible for the DIRECTV Refer-a-Friend offer.
  • Your friend did not provide your DIRECTV account number when he or she ordered DIRECTV

Please note: If your friend is eligible for the DIRECTV Refer-a-Friend offer, you will start receiving your bill credits after his or her DIRECTV® System is installed. If it’s installed in the middle of your billing cycle, your will see your first bill credit on your next bill. You must subscribe to SELECT package or higher for the entire 10-month referral credit period.
