What do the lights on my Wireless Genie Mini mean?

Power LED Light Network LED Light What This Means What You Should Do
Off Off Wireless Genie Mini is not powered See troubleshooting steps
Blinking Blue Any color Wireless Genie Mini is updating software Please wait until your Wireless Genie Mini finishes downloading and installing the new software. This may take 2-3 minutes.
On Off Wireless Genie Mini is booting up Please wait 1-2 minutes.
On Green Wireless Genie Mini is properly connected to the Wireless Video Bridge Nothing. Everything is working properly.
On Yellow Wireless connection to the Wireless Video Bridge is poor 1. Ensure that the Wireless Video Bridge (WVB) is in a vertical position and there are no obstructions (e.g. cabinets or TV).
2. If you moved the WVB, please move it back to its original position.
3. If you moved your Wireless Genie Mini, please move it to a location where its Network LED is green.
4. If you have more than one WVB at home, restart your Wireless Genie Mini by pressing the RED button located on its side panel.
5. If none of these steps work, please call 1-800-531-5000.
On Red Wireless connection to the Wireless Video Bridge is poor 1. Ensure that the Wireless Video Bridge (WVB) is in a vertical position and there are no obstructions (e.g. cabinets or TV).

3. If you moved your Wireless Genie Mini, please move it to a location where its Network LED is green.

On Blinking Red There’s no wireless connection to the Wireless Video Bridge 1. Verify that your Wireless Video Bridge (WVB) in on. (If you just reset your WVB, please wait 3-5 minutes for it to re-establish connection with your Wireless Genie Mini.)
2. Ensure that the Wireless Video Bridge (WVB) is in a vertical position and there are no obstructions (e.g. cabinets or TV).
3. If you moved the WVB, please move it back to its original position.
4. If you moved your Wireless Genie Mini, please move it to a location where its Network LED is green.
5. Restart your Wireless Genie Mini by pressing the RED button on its side panel. Please wait 3-5 minutes for it to reboot.
6. If none of these steps work, please call 1-800-531-5000.
