Is there a fee for current customers to upgrade to the 4K Genie Mini?

The fee will vary based on your account. Hardware and installation fees may also apply if you’re not eligible for any upgrade offers. There is a fee of $7/mo. for each receiver and/or Genie Mini/DIRECTV Ready TV/Device on your account. In the event the DIRECTV 4K Ready TV is the only television connected to DIRECTV service, there will be an additional charge of $7/mo. because your Genie HD DVR and your DIRECTV 4K client must both be active. Advanced Receiver Service fee also applies.
