What are you having trouble signing in to? Please select below.

This problem might be caused by one of the following situations:

  • You’ve entered an incorrect username or password
Since DIRECTV is now part of AT&T family, you may now use your directv.com email or AT&T Access ID (or User ID) to sign in to your account. However, please keep in mind that you must be an active DIRECTV subscriber to sign in to directv.com. If you don’t have DIRECTV, your AT&T Access ID will not work.

Solution: Try signing in with your directv.com username (email) if you have one. If you don’t have a directv.com username, try your AT&T Access ID. Keep in mind that your account will be locked after 7 unsuccessful attempts. If you’re sure that your login information is correct but you’re still getting an error, try one of the other solutions below.

  • You were assigned an AT&T Access ID, so your old directv.com login no longer works
If you’ve recently received an email with your new AT&T Access ID, please use it to sign in to directv.com. Your old directv.com email and password will not work.

Solution: If you can’t find the email with your new Access ID, please visit att.com/login to retrieve your Access ID and/or reset your password.

  • You’re trying to sign in with a temporary password
If you recently ordered DIRECTV service or reset your password, you should have received an email with a temporary password.

Solution: Please follow the instructions in the email to change your temporary password to a permanent one (You will be redirected to att.com to do this). Wait 5 to 10 minutes, then try to sign in again with your permanent password.

  • You recently changed your temporary password to a permanent one
If you’ve recently created a permanent password, it may take up to 10 minutes for it to be available in our system.

Solution: Please wait 10 minutes, then try signing in again.

  • You’ve tried to sign in too many times
For security reasons, directv.com will lock you out if you try to sign in with an incorrect username and password too many times.

Solution: Please call us at 1-800-531-5000 and we’ll help you reset your login.

  • We detected suspicious activity on your account
In rare cases, we might lock your account if we suspect someone is trying to access your account illegally.

Solution: Please call us at 1-800-531-5000 and we’ll help you reset your login.
