As AT&T and DIRECTV continue to become one company, we are making some billing updates to make this transition as easy as possible. More details below.
Will this change my Verizon bill?
Instead of paying your DIRECTV bill at Verizon, you’ll pay AT&T for that service. This means your Verizon bill will no longer include DIRECTV charges. Other than that, your Verizon services will stay the same. If you had any discounts added to your Verizon account because you had DIRECTV service, those discounts will remain on your account.
If you signed up for paperless billing and/or automatic payment on your Verizon bill, you will continue to receive those services. However, you will need to sign up to get paperless billing and/or automatic payment for your DIRECTV bill. Otherwise, you will receive a paper bill.
How do I pay my AT&T/DIRECTV bill?
We’ll mail you a separate DIRECTV bill to your billing address. Any automatic payment options you made with Verizon will not apply to your DIRECTV bill with us. After receiving your first paper bill from us, set up your DIRECTV account on directv.com.
When should I get my first AT&T bill?
You’ll receive your first bill within 30 to 60 days after June 1, 2017. Until you receive this first bill from us, please continue to pay your combined Verizon and DIRECTV bill as you normally would.
Can I keep my Verizon and DIRECTV combined billing?
No, it’s not an option to keep your Verizon and DIRECTV bill combined. Good news: you’ll get to keep your current discounts on each bill.
I have automatic payments set up to pay Verizon today. What do I need to do?
Will I get to keep my DIRECTV discounts?
Any discounts you have because of your DIRECTV service will appear in your AT&T bill.
Why am I receiving my Verizon bill and first AT&T bill so closely together?
Your Verizon bill contains your past DIRECTV services while your first AT&T bill includes your current DIRECTV services. You are not being double billed for DIRECTV services. Please check your bills for dates of service for the applicable charges. Stay current on your services by paying both bills.

After June 1, 2017, call AT&T at 1.800.531.5000 for any questions about your DIRECTV service or charges. You can continue to manage your Verizon account at Verizon.com.
