Error code 775 displays when your receiver loses connection with the satellite dish. As a result, your TV signal may be interrupted. To resolve this error:
Step 1: Check Receiver Cables
Secure all connections between your receiver and the wall outlet, starting with the SAT-IN (or SATELLITE IN) connection. If you have any adapters connected, please secure them as well.
Step 2: Reset SWiM Adapter
If you have a SWiM Adapter (pictured above) attached to the DIRECTV cable coming from your dish, unplug it from the electrical outlet. Wait 15 seconds, and plug it back in.
