DIRECTV error code 920

This error occurs when your receiver isn’t able to download the guide information from the satellite for more than 3 hours. Is the issue happening at your Genie Mini location?

Yes: Troubleshoot the issue from the main Genie Server
No: Continue running a system test on the receiver

Run a System Test:

  1. Press MENU on your remote control.
  2. Select Settings. 
  3. Select Info & Test.
  4. Select Run System Test. This may take a few minutes.

If no codes are returned, then the receiver temporarily lost communication and normal functionality should return shortly.
