DIRECTV Error Code 722

On-Screen Error Code 722 : Service Expired
Error Code 722 means your DIRECTV receiver may not have the programming information for the channel you’re trying to view. To get your channels back as fast as possible, watch the video or try these options:

 

Refresh your service

Many issues, such as missing channels, can be fixed by “refreshing” your receiver. Please visit the My Equipment page and select the “Refresh Receiver” link next to the receiver you’re having trouble with.

 

Reset your receiver

  1. Unplug your receiver’s power cord from the electrical outlet, wait 15 seconds, and plug it back in.
  2. Press the Power button on the front panel of your receiver. Wait for your receiver to reboot.
  3. Go to My Equipment to refresh your receiver again.
